George has always beeneager to quiety contribute to the music of his friends and influential childhood idols, gladly lending his chart-friendly backing vocals or accomplished production skills. His modesty occasionally leads to ambiguity, as was the case with the 1987 Boogie Box High release, "Jive Talkin", a project put together by his cousin Andreas Georgiou. The speculation that had George singing and Nick Heyward playing guitar no doubt assisted the ascent of the archetypal Eighties rejuvenation of the Bee Gees' disco classic to its Number 7 placement in the UK. Another unassuming appearance was on David Cassidy's Top 10 comeback single "Last Kiss", three years earlier in November 1984. This unusual and somewhat generous collabration was largely due to the fact that George had grown aup watching the youthful heart-throb on the kids' programme Saturday Scene, and that the two artists happened to share the same publisher. More recently George has been heard contributing vocals to Aegean's latest prodigy, Trigger, on the song "Chameleon (Shed Your Skin)".
